The receiver will not re-establish its connection (via cable to ethernet- port 1). The ethernet port shows an amber light and there is no service to that television. The amber light follows the ethernet cable in any port. The other wireless receivers i the home have u-verse access, but likewise no DVR function.

Rebooting resulted in the " U-verse is not available at this time" message which continued after several more reboot attempts. Eventually swapped out the wireless receiver (Cisco silver) for a known to be working receiver from another room (Cisco black). The results were the same.
