Webull itself is still based in the US and need to follow the same FINRA SEC regulations just like any other broker. Webull's parent company, Fumi Technologies is a chinese company. As for customer data, to my understanding webull just provides a frontend interface for Apex Clearing, which is where you trades, stocks, and money is actually held.
