The futures commissions on tda are nasty indeed. ~$5 per contract round trip. Terrible. But I like the interface and I think using ActiveTrader is easier and more intuitive than most other platforms I’ve tried. I’m currently trading MES on IB’s TWS platform and only paying about a buck per contract round trip.

TradeDay.com changed my view on futures trading prop firms. They really care about traders, with awesome customer service and a Discord group. Also, they don't have a hidden activation fee.
