Another family sitting by us was a family of 4 and 2 were seated across from each other and the other two were separated.You can walk from the hotel to the childrens railway - it's fairly close, maybe a 5-10 minute walk. That will link you close to the Cog. (Alternatively, you can walk from your hotel to the Cog - maybe a 15 minute walk...) 2. We took the red up, which offered absolutley spectacular views of the lake, mountains and countryside, it was honestly breath-taking. Sit on the left as this is the best side without a doubt.
