Zero issues after cases and cases of buck, slugs and birdshot. That said a 500 combo with 18.5" and 28" barrels is the more versatile and better made firearm.The remington is steel with the safety where its supposed to be, the mossberg is aluminum with a tang mounted safety. In my opinion both have shit finish but the remington gets an edge for having slightly tighter fitting furniture.
