Dec 16, 2018 · Due to the size and weight it is more "snappy" than the other 380's. The original LCP was nothing more than a "copy" of the P-3AT whereas the new LCP II is a bit larger and heavier with a much improved trigger. For me the G42 is just too big for pocket carry. I would have to carry IWB or OWB. I typically carry a Glock 19 on my hip as my primary but also like carrying a BUG, particularly in the Winter when it is difficult to get to the G19. I had been using a Ruger LCP that fit in my front pocket (slacks) or back pocket (Jeans). Though I knew it was a little larger, I purchased the G42 with hopes of using it as a pocket BUG.
