BUT I’d like to have a very honest/frank discussion about Wilson’s finishes, primarily the Armor Tuff finish. Note: I own one factory blued Wilson.

There are some others that are just as good and my Dan Wesson mags have been great but I like the WC. Like.8. Smith & Wesson SW1911SC E-Series. For those looking for an excellent mid-sized carry 1911, check out the 4.25-inch commander S&W 1911SC E-Series. While known more for their revolvers and M&P pistols, S&W should not be overlooked when it comes to 1911s.The Dan Wesson Valor is a really solid value buy at its price point. A better question to ask is Valor or Les Baer. Wilson guns don't compete with guns in the Valor/Les Baer class point for point, generally speaking.
