She is actually useful in most cases and doesn´t really have any negative impact. Having all the armour/clothing made fast means she can be productive elsewhere.

I've intentionally delayed putting up defense towers, automated guns, etc and mobs have remained relatively small and pests not as powerful. There will be stronger mobs eventually, but there does seems to be some calculation to mob size & strength based upon your current defense strength.At first, the bug attacks were interesting and pushed me to evolve and grow. Also pretty powerful and need just 3 combat skill to drive. Both mech can leap over obstacles and small distance so you can for example switch position behind fence if swarmed.
