The middle of a concrete parking lot far away from a gas station, only connected to the highway but a dirt road, is probably the worst place for a base. Zombies can be cleared out over time, rain collectors deliver water.Ahh, this explains that. We had VERY few zombies spawn in the base, and they were all (I think) wearing civilian clothes.
