While the light output and beam pattern are better than expected the light color does not match the front LED marker lights at all, they're much more yellow as expected compared to the LED's.

The OP asked specifically about 981-series OEM 18-inch wheels that he already owns. The 718's winter-wheel design changed; to me, that combined with little to no availability of 18-inch OEM designs for 718 S models are signs that measurements and tolerances were changed on OEM wheels to accommodate the new brakes.
