About the Program. The Residential Apprenticeship is a three year program. Apprentice will work a minimum of 4,800 hours in on-the-job training and 480 hours of classroom training at the JATC. An average apprentice works 40 hours a week with one of our contractors and attends class two nights a week. This apprenticeship has four pay periods.Total Wage/Fringe Package per Hour: $41.99. Current Journeyman Rate: $52.00 + Benefits = Total Wage/Fringe Package per Hour: $84.90.
