The trigger could certainly be a little lighter and I replaced the recoil master with a Dawson tooless guide rod, mainly because the RM is a birth to remove with the FLDC. There are many smith out there that could smooth it out a bit more for you.I keep hearing about Atlas, but I've heard nothing but positive things about Staccato. My only 1911 comparison is my Springfield RO Champion in .45, and my TRP. I've been carrying S&W (M&P) sig, and currently CZ polymers for years, but I've always loved my 1911's for range duty, but not for carry. The c2 DPO sounded like it hit the sweet spot ...Yeah, wildly different animals. And like $1000 difference in price. The STI is very much a different league than any 320, as far as fit and finish go. Both are excellent guns, but very different. I'd ask myself two questions: do I want to spend way more money on the STI and am I good to go with using the manual safety.At minimum it's worth buying the duo/ IOS simply to have the option. You can always use it in the irons configuration. You're obviously talking about drastically different guns, in function and price.About an $1800 difference from the P duo to XC for the comp. Coming out of the box it has three stainless steel double stack magazines. It has been designed to keep the magazines from being inserted too far and causing issues that way. The compact Staccato CS is smaller, weighing only 22.7 ounces and measuring 5.6" tall, 1.2" wide, and 7.1" long with a barrel length of 3.5". Both pistols are chambered in 9mm. The CS has a mag capacity of 16 while the P can hold up to 17 rounds.
