A score is meant to be an apples to apples comparison to same aged peers and this would not be a good comparison bc they couldn't complete the test.
So if a child is administered the test a month ago you can still administer it whereas with language tests the concern is the child will remember the stimulus or activities of the assessment thus invalidating the standard score.
