Is darkmoon greatsword good.

FromSoftware, Please fix the DarkMoon Greatsword Tracking. I know I can't be the only one who is mind blown at this issue. I did not go through one of the lengthiest (if not the longest quest) in the game, to get a broken weapon. The DarkMoon Greatsword tracking is so bad, it's actually laughable. Literally, even when on a flat surface LOCKED ...It is a very good weapon. If you're trying to min/max or just use the best weapons in general then it is outshined by some others, but that shouldn't really matter if you like it. People may recommend Moonveil but if you prefer bigger weapons then the DMGS is a good option.I used the moonveil in the early/mid game but it's boring to use as it's so insanely overpowered at a certain point and quick that no enemies are a challenge and you breeze through everything so I stopped using it and did a quest line that got me the dark moon great word and it's a great sword but again it's kind of boring to use.Discussion & Info. The beam is purely magic damage and scales with int. The only melee physical damage of the sword scales with dex and strength. I'd say strength if you want to use big damage chonky weapons like the jaw in addition to the Greatsword, and dex if you use mainly spells. The difference is minimum damage wise. Moonveil is really fast to use and does great damage. The nerf hasn’t changed that in the slightest. I think most weapons are better than the DMGS. Dark moon is pure unusable vs a lot of bosses and it's not just because of the cast time for the special.

The one handed attacks are good and the weapon art will be more fp efficient than anything else (theoretically at least, if you can hit enemies with the beam). Id also recommend only leveling int to 62 and using the stargazer talisman for rannis darkmoon or the full moon spells cuz they are the only things useful at the 68 int requirement that ...
