Really there are 3 main things that cause issues with the sliding doors in this gen (and really other gens as well): the center roller, the rear latch, or the power release actuator. 90% of the time the problem is one or more of those things.Sounds like you may be experiencing one of the most common problems with the Odyssey- faulty micro switches in the door latch module. . If so, the solution is a new door latch. Let’s see what others here have to say before you proceed. Locate the fuse box, usually located on the driver’s side of the dashboard or in the engine compartment. Find the fuse labeled “Power Sliding Door” or similar. They are accessed using the steering wheel buttons. It may have lost the setting for unlock and locking behavior. The settings are on the screen in front of the driver, NOT the one over in the middle of the car. - Chris.The door control unit monitors pulses form the sliding door motor. If the pulses indicate that the door is slowing down (i.e. binding up, or jammed up) the control unit stops the door, the beeper beeps three times, and the control unit reverses the door. 2.
