1 post · Joined 2023. #1 · Apr 16, 2023. I have a 6310 with about 5000 hours. Recently I have had issues with the in tank fuel pump. They seem to work fine for a few months before quitting. As long as the fuel system stays primed, the tractor will start but I cannot hear the pump engage when turning the ignition key to the 1st position.

Tried higher octane fuel (89 and 91 octane; E10 was the only thing available at the time) to no avail. Deere suggested idling 2 to 3 minutes and when that didn't work, they suggested suggested shutting down from medium rpm's which didn't help either.
