The 4000 doesn't like too much fuel pressure. Recommended pressure is 4.5 psi, so no electric pumps. As there is a vendor out there selling fuel pump kits with incorrect return springs, not a bad idea to check the pressure. Idle mixture control screws should be out from lightly seated 1/4 to 1 turn.
