It was pretty helpful to know exactly what the people in vet school were going through and to see firsthand what was needed that year and personal interview experiences. they also did field trips to the aquarium and zoo.

I've got a couple suggestions. My mom gave me a book a couple years ago called The Horse Doctor Is In by Brent Kelley, DVM. He presents horse health care using stories from his time as an equine vet in Kentucky. Also, one of my all time favorite books is Most of My Patients Are Animals by Robert M. Miller, DVM.I guess pre-vet life/applying to vet school is the most extreme experience some people have and the waiting, rejection, and acceptance overload is hard for some people to handle.
