This is exactly what I just experienced in MUT. "I had not played my 13th Solo Battle game and I just finished my 12th and it said the event was over and would not let me play the 13th." I missed out on 250,000 points for Legend Rewards on the Solo Battles. Platform: Sony Playstation 5.
The MUT Solo Battle mode is a weekly event. It starts on Mondays 10.30 AM ET and ends on Monday 9.00 AM ET the following week. This is very frustrating and it is dumb that there is no fail save to resume like you have in franchise mode.

This one hurts in particular, because Solo Battle is an offline mode that lets people grind MUT Coins and Card Packs fairly efficiently. On the bright side, the developers know about the problem.

Some solid advice on here already. Solo Battles are drastically different on each version. I've scored in the top 5 on both PS4 and PS5 with a few number ones this year on PS5 and one last year on PS4. In Madden NFL 23, you don’t need to qualify for modes like Solo Battles anymore – you exchange a token for entry instead. You’ll also be able to use these tokens to enter the MUT Champions mode. A token gets you access to: 29 games in a week for Solo Battles. 25 games in a week for MUT Champions.
