Kaplan 300 page doc.

Hello, I found on reddit a link to the 300 page doc but it says updated for 2018. Just wondering if there are any newer versions of it or if the mcat chagned at all since then. thanks! The psych content is the same. All that's "changing" is the modern psych mcat is less content regurgitating and more critical thinking/application.If youre crunched on time and just want to get the main points (high yield), then 86 doc is probably sufficient. Hey guys! I'll be starting my MCAT prep soon and am trying to organize my resources. For P/S, I'm torn between the 300-page doc and using the Kaplan book. A lot of people will say anki decks or the 300 page doc but those really didn’t work for me (not saying that those are bad! Just offering an alternative) I read through the Kaplan book and did a bunch of AAMC questions, UEarth questions, and bought some exam kracker’s tests and did the psych/soc questions.

It won't hurt to skim over the Kaplan book, but that doc has all you need. I did not have a significant background in P/S in college and I got a 132 in P/S mainly using that document. ... Princeton books are a bit too detailed and it takes way too long to get through reading them imo. They also don't focus on the right topics sometimes. The problem is the Kaplan book only has some of what you need to know for P/S plus extraneous stuff. The 300 page doc is better because the P/S stuff chosen by AAMC is rather arbitrary and isn't necessarily what you'd expect to find, but that's what they've deemed fair game. FWIW, JS has BOTH the 300pg doc and stuff from the Kaplan book.

I recommend just going through the shorter version of the doc and anything you need clarification on watch the associated KA video. n=1 as well but the Kaplan book was poorly explained imho and had some inconsistencies with what I had previously learned as a neuroscience major.
