Is tradovate a good broker.

Normally $500 margin for daytrading index e-minis, $50 /contract for micros, double right now due to the high volatility. Very customizable and as fuzzyp44 mentioned, lots of people develop features, add-ons, custom indicators, etc.

If you're especially worried about disconnects, you could use Tradingview as your platform and Tradovate as your broker. Tradovate has a decent web interface that you could employ as a fallback. Re: brokers, AMP is solid and Tradovate is very good. People like Ninjatrader, but with that, you're locked into the Ninjatrader platform, I believe. Months ago I did the break even analysis for Tradovate as a broker and a third party platform. Basically you were never better off with this setup if you traded micros. But you could come out ahead with Minis as long as you were doing like 150+ round turns a month (forgot the exact number)
