Survival Island is Poptropica's 38th island. It is the first island to be released episodically, meaning that new chapters (episodes) were released over time. The first episode (Crash Landing) was released to members on March 20, 2014 and April 17, 2014 for everyone. Survival Island (full version) was re-released for Steam on May 25, 2022.I've been getting back into the epic ness of poptropica lately and I can't help but notice classic islands like Zomberry, Backlot, super villain and super hero islands, etc.Like many others, I used to LOVE poptropica. I understand why the old islands needed to be deleted, but the developers seem to be spending all their time creating new clubhouse decorations and outfits. Every new island that's been added in the past few years seems rushed and way too easy.There is no doubt that throughout the years, Poptropica has gone through many changes. Haxe has shown that the game is going in an entirely different direction. The constant ads, that lack of the blue border, the cash grab credit popups... it was clear where the game is heading. Throughout all that it's been tolerable. But this is the last straw.
