All I ever did for comats was OME (I read the notes) and combank. I think once I did comquest and I got above 100 on all of them and honored FM and EM. 1.

In my opinion, the goal is to show progression so as long as you get consistently better, you should do just fine. In terms of resources, there's always Truelearn (Combank) and Uworld but if you've been doing Amboss and Comquest, I don't think that's going to be much help. I think every COMAT had a different way for studying as well which was a pain in the ass. For IM, it’s ver broad but very similar to board prep questions. That said, it can be a tough COMAT because it can be all the systems. I would recommend doing questions will help in the IM COMAT.

As far as tips for IM, just show up, be willing to learn, and be professional. That pretty much covers most of 3rd year to be honest. All of my evals were good and they were all pretty much about how I was good to work with and eager to learn. If there is something you get pimped on that you struggle with you should study it that night. Our school gives almost no weight to shelf, only need ~30th percentile on shelf with honors level clinical evals to get honors on the clerkship. Similarly, a perfect score on shelf cannot raise a high pass clinical evals to honors for the clerkship. The COMAT is a joke compared to Uworld in terms of question difficulty. The only thing that makes it hard is the vague and poorly worded questions and bizarre topics they’ll test you on. I think I had like 5 rheum questions and had to guess on 3-4 of them.

Mine were pretty similar to my COMAT scores. Here are mine in the order I did them. Strongly suggest comquest for COMAT tbh. IM: predicted 105; scored 103 -- only did comquest for this shelf, since it was my first one and I wasn't sure about my study methods yet OBGYN: predicted 106; scored 106 -- also did ~20% of UW OBGYN questions

OMM Comat 2021. Just took this exam. Studied Dementor OMM Deck, which goes over high yield topics from Savarese. Went through all all of Comquest's question bank for OMM (125 questions) and studied the anki deck above. Think I did very well, enough to pass at least I think.
