Hello! I've been racking my head around this issue for a long time now. I play in fullscreen mode but for ease of use (and possibly fixing my directx woes) I want to play in borderless windowed. However, when I use borderless windowed I get really stuttery performance. Dark Knight Lv 80. Basically imagine it as a Vertical Sync which works on all frame ranges from 30 to 144 with way less input lag. You get a butter smooth image no matter your FPS. This along with more than 60 FPS makes a huge difference although in XIV you will feel it only during battles with lots of movement.
