Be careful with this method. The "extract and play" method isn't a stable way to go about it, because each system is different and cemu relies on registry information and CPU information, that's why my pack had people set it up themselves so they don't run into issues. Granted mine uses cemu 1.12, I'm currently testing my pack with 1.15.2.

No matter where I put the mlc01 folder Cemu tells me it can't write to it and to select another path. Also, when I try to setup my controller the drop down menu is grayed out. Archived post. The mlc folder also contains all installed updates and DLC and can easily be several GBs in size. What I would do instead is just use a sync program. I personally use PureSync to for things like backups, but also to syncronize files and folders on my two work PCs.
if you install a game, update or DLC to Cemu via a meta.xml file, it will be copied to the MLC folder, which is the "mlc01" folder in your Cemu main folder by default. that is the only way to actually "install" a game to Cemu. and yes, two copies of Cemu can share the same MLC folder. you just need to set the path in settings to the same ...

Is it possible to preload game using Cemu on one computer ( apply patch, dlc ) and migrate this information to another computer with exactly same Cemu version and same game path ? I would expect result of actions done in Cemu must be saved somewhere in MLC Path directory and theoretically could be transferrable.
Well, the title says it: I have updated to the latest CEMU version (1.22.12), and although the DLC (BOTW) still appears in the cemu menu, when I enter the game (BOTW), the DLC does not appear. It also happened to me with the previous cemu update (1.22.11). If I delete 1.22.12 files and reinstall version 1.22.10c, then the DLCs do appear ingame.
I had downloaded a WUD and just literally dragged and dropped it into Cemu to start it. The tooltips say the folder in question should be in Cemu_2.0.9999\mlc01\usr\title, where I got: - 0005000c. - 0005000e. - 0005000. c contains the DLC, e contains the update, but 0005000 is actually empty. I'd need a "content" folder in there to point BCML ...It was intact on a storage HD I simply plugged into my computer. I started CEMU and it couldn't find the mlc as it was reading the directory from my previous computer. great guide.. for those with the 64gb Steam Deck and little space left I was able to install and run CEMU from the SD card. Its the same process but whets bit tricky is that the rooms need to be added in the SD card as well and I had a hard time figuring out the folder to place it in. Quick question, how can we configure the decks input to allow to stop emulation ?

I'm using the same images (the directory names are exactly the same) and they work fine for me. If it doesn't work for you, delete your cemu/mlc directories and start over. I placed the base game in cemu's ROM path, then installed the game update and dlc via File -> Install game update or dlc.
