It's definitely NOT random.@JefferMC, doing some googling around it seems that traceroute can return multiple ips for a single hop if the all have the same weight kind of like a load balancer.. What I was pointing out is the skewed latency in 1 of the 3 returned addresses on each run. Also there were more than 3 addresses each time as well, which means there are more that 3 ips with the same weight between hop 6 and 7.When it comes to packet loss, it can also stem from high ping and latency.
