The Cog railway station is also a great place to hike up to the top in only a few hours. If it's a nice day, bring another SD card for the photos. I have only taken the train to the top once and lucked out all the way up and down. I took about 140 pics with 50-55 being keepers. I have hiked up 11 times and driven up three.

Another family sitting by us was a family of 4 and 2 were seated across from each other and the other two were separated.
