They have the same connections as the older drives but also have more connectors so if it is plugged into a 3.0 port then it can take advantage of those extra connections. Easy fix. Their is a wire (blue) that's become loose that connects to the radio Modual located behind the glovebox on the right side. Remove glovebox door , remove panel.Behind the panel you will see a Modual that mounted sideway , blue wire should connect to the box from left hand.
