But it ends with Factory ammo! the 788 is King with reloads, but it aint sexy like my old Glenfeild.

The only difference in the 30AS and the 336 is the wood and the sights. The 30AS has a birch stock, carbine style front sight, and I believe a stamped sheetmeatal style rear with the sliding elevator. The 336 has black walnut for stocks, adjustable semi buck horn rear sight, and a hooded bead sight on a ramp for a front.

The one I got today has a fancy dark walnut stock and the forearm almost looks like a dark burl walnut, it has a gold trigger and copper butt plate.

I replaced the stamped dear head birch stocks (which I still have) with some new Walnut checkered stocks I got off of ebay!
