The kick in Dark Souls 3 isn't a guaranteed guard break like DS2 had, yet it's slower than it was in DS1, and even swinging into them won't do you any good, either. Reply more replies ... yo what weapons do you guys have the most success with in PVP? Mine is Estoc and Dark Sword, eh heh! Jokes aside, they are actually: Exile greatsword, Gundyr Halberd, Black Knight Great Axe and Dragon Slayer Swordspear + spear. Greatsword type weapons are kinda like the underdog in this game+15 is always the best upgrade for most weapons in my experience in pve. not so sure about pvp. +15 always gave me the most damage especially with scaling. since I always go dex build, and I'll mostly go for uchigatana, +15 did a lot more damage than a +5 lightning uchi, because it scaled better. but maybe its a specific scenario that doesn't apply to much else?Ricard's has the quick multi-thrust WA, which is excellent with bleed or powerful weapon buff builds, stacks up damage really quick. Melts bosses, really hard to hit in pvp though. In your case, Estoc has good base AR, while Ricard's has low base AR. My guess is that the tracking somehow favors stabby weapons in laggy conditions, this doesn't apply just to Estoc but Rapier too. Dark Souls RPGNinja123 12 years ago #1 It seems like I never do well in triple and double teams with the estoc because of the low damage and you need to rely on parries and backstabs obviously so when you finally get a kill it seems that much more satisfying because you are basically whittling away on the guy's lifebar.

If left hand weapons are the same in Dark Souls as they are in Demons, they will be only good for dual wielding (to create a stunlock effect and offer faster off-hand swings) and to give some sort of passive bonus (like the magic-boosting Kris Blade).
