Jan 23, 2007 · Taking the remote apart problem. Tsat-60 Sony TIVO remote control problems. New batteries installed twice over & batt contacts cleaned with Stabilant 22. I believe the buttons contact surface needs cleaning as happens with most everything I own as I am constantly pressing something. Unpredictably, the remote goes from working fine to buttons ...
