Probably also because the tip on the s pen feels pointier. I used to use 8.5"x5.5" loose paper for notes. The thickness of the A6X makes it feel like I have less space to work with but also the writing area is 6 and 1/8 inch by 4 and 5/8 inch. On A5X it is 8 and 1/4 inch by 6 and 1/8 inch.
