Oculus quest 2 boundary glitch.
My Quest is pretty much unusable. I seem to be stuck in a constant loop of "return to play area" messages. I redefine a new guardian area and it immediately tells me to return to the play area. Sometimes I can get past it by repeating the process multiple times, but it seems to be getting worse.

The only people who post about this is the people who have issues so it looks like it's widespread. Mine is having SO many problems as well, 90% of the glitches is softlocks, sometimes it softlocks on a black screen, other times it’s pass through. Most will be fixed with v28 update, dw.

Due to the way the oculus manages it's memory the video it stores is not at a fixed framerate, but the audio runs at a fixed rate, so every time a frame is dropped it desyncs slightly more. There's no way to fix it at time of recording except to build games to never skip a beat even on loading, which isn't going to be possible in all instances.

My first Quest 2 developed that problem and I contacted Amazon, and they sent a replacement set. Now the replacement is doing it. If I randomly click the buttons and move the controllers around (and probably even if I don't) the "Tracking Lost" window flickers and goes away and it boots up normally after 15-20 seconds.
