CVS has a better training program, Walgreens has a better work culture and typically better pay. Depends on where you live. I'm about to start at CVS at $14 an hour while I'm in school. Will go up to 16 when I'm certified and another 2 (18) once I get immunization. You do get paid, but it heavily depends on where you live.
